ABOUT
Somewhere between a family office balance sheet and a rack of speakeasy-themed dance merch, you'll find me.
I'm Denise Callen, and my job title is technically Consultant and Chief Chaos Officer, which is less a joke than an accurate job description. I manage investments, real estate, travel, and logistics for a family office, work built on years of board, leadership and governance experience, including serving as HOA president and on the board of directors for CCSA, plus a background in creative business management.
Before any of that, I spent 25 years painting murals, owned and ran a successful Paint-Your-Own-Pottery studio for over a decade, and have planned weddings for more than 15 years. Keeping a lot of moving pieces from falling apart has been the job description the whole time, whatever the industry.
These days the creative side of that shows up in Hidden Barre, a speakeasy-themed merch line for dance moms.
Based in Reno.
